Strategy Explanation

This TH18 war base uses a tight diamond core with stacked compartments and open channels to split armies and deny value to Electro Dragon chains. The Town Hall sits in the inner ring, wrapped by multiple wall layers and high-DPS pieces. A Monolith anchors the very center, with Spell Towers and X-Bows fanning around it. Eagle Artillery is tucked high at 12 o’clock behind walls, while Scattershots are offset on opposite flanks to create crossfire as troops rotate around the ring.

The layout forces pathing along long lanes instead of straight pushes. Air Defenses are spread in the quadrants, never giving a clean line for a Warden/E-Drag sweep. Storages and utility buildings are placed along the outer belt to burn time and soak chain damage. Builder Huts sit near the core to keep key defenses alive through early rage/warden ability pressure. Overall, it’s a deliberate anti-air, anti-hybrid shape that punishes blimps, funnels, and lazy queen charges.

Strengths

  • Anti E-Drag lanes: Wide gaps and segmented boxes break chain value and push drags into ADs, Sweepers, and multi-target zones.
  • Core survival: Monolith + Spell Towers + X-Bows around the Town Hall force early spells and make 2-star secure but 3-star difficult.
  • Split-fire Scattershots: Opposite-side placement means hybrids and Titans get hit from different angles while moving the ring.
  • Eagle at 12 o’clock: Hard to access early, continually punishing pathing troops as they circle.
  • Anti-Queen charge: Layered walls and offset compartments reduce wall-break value and make charge-to-core risky.
  • Air coverage balance: ADs, Sweepers, and air-targeting X-Bows cover each other and deny a single-side collapse.

Building and Pathing Notes

  • Town Hall in the inner box with Monolith central; Spell Towers cover the approach to deny blimps and rage Titans.
  • Scattershots on opposite diagonals; Eagle high at 12 with heavy protection.
  • Air Defenses spread in all quadrants; Sweepers aimed down the long lanes to push air off the Town Hall line.
  • Builder Huts clustered near core defenses; outer storages increase time and chain resistance.

Hero and Pet Setup

  • King on a heavy side to break early funnel attempts.
  • Queen opposite King to punish casual charge entries.
  • Warden with core-covering angle; don’t leave him snip-able from a corner.
  • Royal Champion anchored near a Scatter to dissuade Hog/Rider dives.

Trap Ideas

  • Place Seeking Air Mines along common E-Drag entry lanes toward the Eagle and the longest sweeper-facing side.
  • Giant Bombs and Springs in ring turns to catch Miners/Hogs as they pivot compartments.
  • Tornado near Town Hall or Monolith to stall blimps and force late abilities.

War Usage Tips

  • Scout for flame-flingerable edges and add a mortar swap if needed.
  • Rotate small tweaks weekly (trap swaps, one AD move) to dodge repeat-friendly plans.
