Strategy Explanation

This TH6 hybrid war base packs the Town Hall, Clan Castle, and all storages into a tight diamond core with multiple tiny compartments. The purple wall maze forces Giants and Wall Breakers to split constantly, while the splash layer (Wizard Towers close to the middle and Mortars forming a triangle around them) punishes any clumped push. Point defenses sit on the outer ring—Cannons and Archer Towers alternating—so no single side offers an easy entry. Small one-tile gaps and empty pockets between rings act as trap bays, turning the shortest path into a spring-and-bomb gauntlet. Outside, collectors and camps are spaced into neat clusters, and corner huts add time pressure for late attacks.

In wars, this plays as an anti-3 by dragging troops around the inner ring and burning time on the last 20–30%. For farming, the storages remain protected deep inside, so even if an attacker cleans a side, they rarely walk away with your core loot.

Strengths

  • Core loot safety: Town Hall, Clan Castle, and storages are separated by walls, so a breach on one side doesn’t hand over everything.
  • Pathing tax on Giants: The staggered compartments and offset junctions trigger lots of rerouting and spring traps.
  • Splash coverage where it matters: Wizard Towers sit just off-center to cover storages; Mortars are spaced to shell any mass Barch or Goblins before they reach the core.
  • Solid anti-air for TH6: Central air coverage supported by Wizard Towers makes mass Balloons commit deep, where they eat traps and crossfire.
  • Time-fail potential: Corner huts and spread outside buildings punish sloppy funnels and late cleanup.

Defense and Pathing Notes

  • Place Spring Traps on the one-tile corridors that connect the outer ring to the first inner compartment—aim to hit Giant turns, not straight lines.
  • Stack Small Bombs near likely Wall Breaker targets at double-junctions; keep at least one set opposite your heaviest cannon cluster.
  • Air Bombs slightly off-center toward the side with more storages; Seeking Air Mine on the most direct Healer line.

War Setup Tips

  • CC fill: 1 Dragon is best at TH6; if not available, Balloons + Archers works. Centered CC makes lures costly.
  • Scout for Giant-Healer: shift a Seeking Air Mine to the most open lane the night before war.
  • Rotate the base 90° if your opponent favors one entry; it’s symmetrical enough to throw off pre-planned funnels.

Farming/Hybrid Toggle

  • Hybrid (default): keep TH and storages in the core as shown.
  • Pure farming: push the Town Hall one layer outward to bait a quick shield; keep storages deepest and swap a cannon inward to guard them.

Upgrade Priorities

  • Max Wizard Towers and Mortars first, then Air Defense.
  • Bring key junction walls to purple ASAP; they pay off more than full perimeter upgrades.
  • Max Spring Traps and Small Bombs—this layout’s value comes from pathing traps doing work.
