Strategy Explanation

This TH18 Anti 2 Stars layout is built around an awkward split between the Town Hall side and the percentage side. The Town Hall sits left of center inside a dense block of compartments and heavy defenses, while the right side is stretched out with many exterior buildings and lighter structures that invite cleanup percentage but do not give easy access to the core. That shape is important in Legend League because it pressures attackers to choose between securing the Town Hall and controlling overall destruction.

The strongest defensive value is concentrated in the middle-left section. The Town Hall is surrounded by stacked defenses, storages, and walls that make direct access messy. There is no clean straight lane into it, so troops entering from the left or lower-left are likely to stall in layers before reaching the key target. At the same time, the central compartments appear busy and compact, which increases defensive overlap and makes spell placement more demanding.

On the right side, the base opens up into a broad exterior with many spaced buildings. That often pulls heroes or support troops wide unless the funnel is very controlled. For an attacker trying to secure a comfortable two-star hit, this creates a real decision: take the easier outside percentage first and risk missing the Town Hall timing, or force the Town Hall early and give up control of the far side. The layout appears designed to punish attacks that do not commit enough to the core.

Strengths

This design has several practical anti-2-star traits that stand out immediately. It does not rely on a centered Town Hall. Instead, it uses offset placement and uneven building distribution to make the attack plan less clean.

  • Offset Town Hall pressure: The Town Hall is protected by multiple nearby compartments and does not sit on a simple edge channel.
  • Dense core traffic: The middle-left compartments are crowded with major defenses and buildings, making pathing less predictable once troops enter.
  • Wide percentage side: The right half gives up outside buildings slowly, which can waste time and pull troops away from the center.
  • Good anti-spam shape: Because the base is uneven rather than symmetrical, spam armies are less likely to sweep cleanly through the whole structure.
  • Separated priorities: Town Hall value and easy exterior percentage are not in the same place, forcing a tougher trade-off.

Ground Attack Pathing

Ground armies will usually have to choose between a left-side Town Hall route and a wider percentage route from the right. The left approach gives faster access to the main objective but runs straight into the heaviest concentration of defenses. The right approach is easier to start but risks troops walking around compartments instead of driving inward. That split is one of the better features of the design.

Root Rider style attacks may still break layers because the core is compact, but they need strong funneling support. If support troops drift into the open right side, the push can lose momentum before it reaches the best value.

Air Attack Considerations

The layout is not especially friendly to simple air spam because the important defenses are not all sitting in a tight line. The Town Hall side is crowded, and the base shape does not give a perfect straight sweep across the whole village. Electro Dragons in particular may get percentage from the outer right edge, but the spacing on that side reduces ideal chain value compared with a fully packed corner.

Lalo or hero-supported air attacks may look for an angle that removes the Town Hall first and flies across the thinner half afterward. That plan is possible, but it still requires clean setup because the core is where most of the danger is stacked.

Hero Entry Considerations

Heroes are likely to matter most on the Town Hall side. A King or Queen started on the left can help force access toward the main objective, but they have to work through layered walls and heavy point defense. A hero dive from the lower-left looks more natural than a shallow right-side entry, simply because the right side offers too many chances to drift.

If you use the copy option for this layout, it makes sense to keep the overall building spread intact. The uneven right-side percentage and the crowded Town Hall half are what give the base its anti-2-star identity in Legend League.

Legend League Use

For daily defense, this layout fits players who want to make safe hits uncomfortable rather than just baiting all-in attacks. It invites outside percentage on one side and then asks for a costly commitment into the protected Town Hall zone. That is a solid Legend League concept because many attacks are built first around securing two stars, and this design makes that decision point visible from the start.
