COC Bases: Best TH13 Legend League Layouts (Copy Links)

Defend trophies consistently in Legend League with strong TH13 bases built to stop 3-stars, force time fails, and punish meta attacks. Copy any base instantly with 1-tap links.

How to Choose the Best TH13 Legend League Base

A TH13 Legend League base should be selected for repeated defensive results, not one lucky replay. The layout should make easy triples harder, reduce average destruction and force attackers to spend Heroes, spells, Siege Machine value and cleanup time across different parts of the village.

The best TH13 Legend League layout for your account depends on the attacks appearing in your defense log. A useful base should separate the Town Hall, Eagle Artillery, Scattershots, Inferno Towers, Air Sweepers, X-Bows, defending Heroes and traps so one Battle Blimp, Queen Charge, Hero dive or Smash entry does not remove the full defensive structure.

Use the layouts on this page as starting designs for Legend-style and Ranked defense. Compare Town Hall access, Eagle Artillery value, Scattershot placement, Battle Blimp routes, Queen Charge paths, Air Sweeper directions, trap logic, outside percentage and back-end strength before choosing a layout. No TH13 base can guarantee the same result against every attacker.

Repeated Defensive Results

A Legend layout should be judged across several defenses. One strong hold does not prove that a base is exceptional, and one three-star result does not automatically mean the full design should be replaced.

Review average stars, average destruction and repeated entry sides before making major changes.

Separated High-Value Objectives

The Town Hall, Eagle Artillery, Scattershots, Inferno Towers, Air Sweepers, X-Bows and defending Heroes should not all be reachable through one planned opening.

Separating major objectives forces attackers to divide spells, Hero abilities, Siege value and cleanup timing between multiple phases.

Balanced Air and Ground Defense

TH13 Legend-style bases should account for Electro Dragons, Dragons, Balloons, Lalo-style attacks, Queen Charges, Smash attacks, Miners, Hog Riders, Royal Champion routes and Battle Blimp openings.

The layout should not become so focused on one attack type that another receives a simple path through the Town Hall, core and back end.

Replay-Based Trap Logic

Traps should follow realistic troop, Hero and Siege Machine movement. Initial trap positions can be chosen from likely pathing, then refined after repeated defensive results.

Publication on this page does not automatically mean that every trap placement has been controlled-tested against high-level attackers.

How Current Legend League Structure Affects Base Selection

Legend League is divided into multiple tiers, and each tier can use its own tournament structure and Battle Modifiers. This means a layout should not be judged only by its screenshot or by one old replay.

When choosing a TH13 Legend layout, review the defensive environment you are actually facing. If Battle Blimps, Electro Dragons, Queen Charges, Smash paths, Hybrid-style ground attacks or Balloon-based attacks appear repeatedly, prioritize the layout features that address those routes.

Average Stars

Track how many stars the layout gives up across several defenses. A base that repeatedly limits triples may still be useful even when it gives up some two-star results.

Average Destruction

Destruction percentage helps compare bases that concede the same number of stars. Lower average destruction can matter when defensive results are close.

Repeated Entry Sides

If attackers repeatedly use the same Town Hall, Battle Blimp, Queen Charge, air entry or ground route, the layout may need a targeted adjustment instead of a complete rebuild.

Battle Modifier Awareness

Modifier changes can influence which attacks are common. Review the active environment before judging whether a TH13 Legend base is still suitable.

What Should a TH13 Legend Base Try to Achieve?

A TH13 Legend League base should avoid giving attackers one cheap route that removes the Town Hall, Eagle Artillery, Scattershots and back-end defenses together. The goal is not to stop every attack, but to make common plans less efficient.

  • Limit easy triples: avoid one path that connects the Town Hall, Eagle Artillery, Scattershots, Infernos and final defenses.
  • Control destruction: keep selected outside and middle-layer buildings under meaningful defensive coverage.
  • Force separate commitments: make attackers divide Heroes, spells and Siege support between different objectives.
  • Preserve back-end damage: important defenses should remain after the opening and Town Hall sections fall.
  • Complicate cleanup: use defended perimeter buildings and travel distance without relying only on forgotten corner structures.

TH13 Defenses That Shape Legend Layouts

Town Hall 13 base building is shaped by the Giga Inferno, Eagle Artillery, Scattershots, Inferno Towers, X-Bows, Air Sweepers, defending Heroes and traps. These defenses should work together without giving one entry too much value.

Town Hall Giga Inferno

The TH13 Town Hall can punish grouped troops around the Town Hall section. Use this pressure as part of the layout, but do not rely on the Town Hall alone to carry the defense.

A successful Town Hall takedown should not also remove the whole core and leave the back end weak.

Eagle Artillery and Scattershots

Eagle Artillery and Scattershots should create pressure in different attack phases. If they are all reachable from the same opening, attackers may remove too much damage too early.

Preserve some splash and long-range pressure away from the first expected attack side.

Inferno and X-Bow Coverage

Inferno Towers and X-Bows should support both air and ground defense. Their modes should match the expected routes and the rest of the layout’s damage profile.

After copying a layout, review Inferno and X-Bow modes before using the base in active defense.

Royal Champion Pressure

At TH13, the Royal Champion can remove important defenses or help finish the back end when the route is too clean.

Place defending Heroes and traps so Hero entries and Royal Champion paths must deal with real pressure instead of collecting easy value.

Choosing the Town Hall Position

Town Hall placement affects star value, Battle Blimp routes, Hero pathing, Queen Charge entries and the amount of defensive value attackers can remove with one commitment. Central, offset and teaser-style positions can all work when the rest of the layout supports the intended trade-off.

Central Town Hall

A central Town Hall can require attackers to pass through several defensive layers and use important spells, Hero abilities or Siege support before reaching it.

Avoid building one overloaded core where a single Battle Blimp, Queen Charge or central push removes the Town Hall, Eagle Artillery, Scattershots and Infernos together.

Offset Town Hall

An offset Town Hall can pull attackers toward one side while the strongest back-end defenses remain elsewhere.

Check whether one short Hero route, Queen Charge or direct Battle Blimp line can reach it too cheaply from the deployment edge.

Teaser-Style Town Hall

A teaser Town Hall encourages attackers to enter from a predictable side. That route should contain traps, Clan Castle pressure, defending Heroes and overlapping damage.

Without a clear punishment plan, the Town Hall may simply become an inexpensive first objective.

Town Hall and Back-End Separation

Reaching the Town Hall should not remove the complete defensive plan. Preserve meaningful splash, air-targeting, single-target and trap pressure in another section.

Planning against Battle Blimp Entries

Battle Blimps are one of the most important routes to inspect on a TH13 Legend layout. A successful delivery can remove too much value when the Town Hall, Eagle Artillery, Scattershots, Infernos and Clan Castle value are grouped together.

Separate Landing-Zone Value

One Blimp should not remove the Town Hall, Eagle Artillery, both Scattershots and several major defenses while also opening a simple route for the main army.

Review Direct and Diagonal Routes

Inspect Blimp approaches from every deployment side. The shortest route is not always the route a planned attacker will choose.

Layer Air Trap Pressure

Seeking Air Mines, Air Bombs, Air Sweepers, the Tornado Trap and defensive coverage should influence more than one likely delivery route.

Account for Protected Deliveries

Attackers may support a Battle Blimp with spells, Hero abilities or equipment. Do not assume one air trap or one Sweeper will stop every delivery.

Planning against TH13 Ground Attacks

Ground attacks may use Queen Charges, Smash pushes, Yetis, Super Bowlers, Miners, Hog Riders, Heroes and Siege Machines to create a route through the base. A TH13 Legend layout should avoid one straight path through every important objective.

Break Direct Defensive Lines

Do not place the Town Hall, Eagle Artillery, Scattershots, Inferno Towers, Clan Castle and back-end defenses along one simple ground route.

A ground push should need to redirect, split or spend additional support to reach the next important section.

Use Offset Compartments

Offset compartments can separate the main army from support troops or pull the push away from the strongest back-end defenses.

Avoid random wall openings that create easier access without a defensive reason.

Review Hybrid Paths

Miners and Hog Riders move between defensive targets. Place Giant Bombs, Spring Traps and Skeleton Traps according to likely target order.

Preserve Single-Target Pressure

Single-target Infernos, defending Heroes and protected core defenses should challenge Heroes and high-hitpoint troops at different stages of the attack.

Planning against TH13 Air Attacks

TH13 Legend-style layouts should also account for Electro Dragons, Dragons, Balloons, Lava Hound-style attacks, air-supported Blimps and flying cleanup. Losing the entire anti-air network early can make the final phase easier.

Controlled Chain Spacing

Separate important buildings enough to reduce repeated Electro Dragon chain value. Avoid excessive spacing that leaves isolated defenses and simple cleanup.

Protect Air Defenses and Sweepers

One Hero entry should not remove an Air Defense, Air Sweeper, Inferno Tower and another major objective together.

Preserve Back-End Air Damage

Air Defenses, Inferno Towers, X-Bows, traps and defending Heroes should remain active after the first air section falls.

Review Balloon Target Order

Balloons move between defensive targets. Place Air Bombs and supporting splash damage where Balloons are likely to gather or change direction.

Planning Air Sweeper Directions

Air Sweeper direction should be checked after every copy-link installation. A layout can look strong but still leave the main air or Blimp route unpressured if both Sweepers point toward low-value sides.

  • Cover attractive approaches: aim toward sides offering Town Hall, Eagle Artillery, Scattershot or core access.
  • Influence Blimp paths: review direct and diagonal delivery routes instead of only the shortest line.
  • Support back-end air damage: push flying troops into areas where defenses remain active.
  • Avoid wasted directions: pointing both Sweepers toward a low-value side may leave the real entry exposed.
  • Follow repeated replays: adjust directions when several attacks consistently use an uncovered air route.

Recommended Trap Principles for TH13 Legend League Bases

Trap placement should follow realistic troop, Hero and Siege Machine movement. These ideas are starting principles rather than guaranteed combinations.

  • Tornado Trap near active defenses: use its delay where nearby towers can continue attacking a Blimp, Hero group or main army.
  • Seeking Air Mines on probable Blimp paths: cover direct and diagonal routes toward the Town Hall, Eagle Artillery or core.
  • Air Bombs on grouped flight paths: place them where Balloons or other flying troops are likely to gather.
  • Giant Bombs on ground routes: position them where Miners, Hog Riders or support troops are likely to move between defenses.
  • Spring Traps on important crossings: current Spring Traps target one qualifying troop, so place them where that disruption can affect movement or timing.
  • Skeleton Trap modes: choose ground or air according to the Hero, troop or Siege route being defended.
  • Preserve back-end traps: avoid committing every trap to the Town Hall or opening section.

How to Compare TH13 Legend League Layouts

  • Inspect Town Hall access: determine whether a Hero or Siege Machine can reach it too cheaply.
  • Review Eagle Artillery placement: check whether one entry removes it with the Town Hall and several splash defenses.
  • Check Scattershot separation: one push should not remove both Scattershots and the main core together.
  • Review Battle Blimp routes: inspect direct and diagonal approaches toward the Town Hall and core.
  • Check Air Sweeper directions: make sure they influence realistic air and Blimp approaches.
  • Review outside percentage: avoid giving attackers a safe funnel and cleanup route.
  • Inspect wall access: one opening should not create a direct route through the complete village.
  • Review trap distribution: traps should cover several likely routes rather than one predictable entry.
  • Review defending Hero value: Heroes should support important routes instead of being removed too early.
  • Check the back end: meaningful defensive damage should remain after the opening and Town Hall sections fall.

How to Use TH13 Legend League Copy Links

Select a TH13 Legend League base copy link to open the design in the Clash of Clans Layout Editor. Confirm that every available building, defense, wall and trap has been placed before saving the layout.

After copying, review Town Hall placement, Eagle Artillery placement, Scattershot separation, Inferno Tower modes, X-Bow modes, Air Sweeper directions, Skeleton Trap modes, Clan Castle troops if used by your defensive setup, defending Hero positions and trap locations.

Check whether newly upgraded or previously unplaced buildings remain outside the saved design. Missing buildings can change spacing, troop pathing, Battle Blimp value, air coverage and defensive pressure.

Confirm that the copied design is selected as your active Ranked defensive layout before the relevant competition or League Day begins. Saving a base in the editor does not always mean the correct defensive slot is active.

A working one-tap copy link makes installation easier, but it does not prove that the layout has been tested against top-ranked players or guarantee the same result in every Legend tier.

How to Measure TH13 Legend Defense Results

Compare several defenses instead of choosing only the best or worst replay. Look for repeated patterns that reveal structural problems.

  • Average stars conceded: compare whether the layout produces stable results across multiple attacks.
  • Average destruction: use percentage to compare bases that concede the same number of stars.
  • Repeated entry sides: record whether attackers consistently choose the same Town Hall, Battle Blimp, Queen Charge or air route.
  • Sweeper bypasses: identify whether air attacks regularly avoid both Sweeper directions.
  • Back-end survival: review which defenses remain active and whether they meaningfully affect the final troops.
  • Attack-family distribution: note whether you mainly face air spam, Balloon attacks, Queen Charges, Smash attacks or Hybrid-style ground paths.

Common TH13 Legend League Base Mistakes

  • Claiming proven performance without records: do not describe a layout as tested or proven unless documented results and methods exist.
  • Judging one defense: one attack provides too little information to measure repeated performance.
  • Stacking Town Hall, Eagle and Scattershots: one Battle Blimp, Queen Charge or Hero entry may remove too much value.
  • Ignoring diagonal Blimp routes: focusing only on the shortest route can leave another delivery angle open.
  • Ignoring Air Sweeper directions: the main air or Blimp route may remain unpressured.
  • Leaving excessive outside percentage: safe perimeter buildings can create easy funnels and cleanup.
  • Stacking every air trap near the Town Hall: alternate air routes and the back end may receive little trap pressure.
  • Leaving one direct ground route: a planned push may connect the Town Hall, core and back end without changing direction.
  • Ignoring Royal Champion paths: the attacker may remove key defenses or cleanup buildings more efficiently than expected.
  • Using outdated Spring Trap assumptions: Spring Traps target one qualifying troop rather than launching an entire group.
  • Changing layouts too frequently: insufficient results make repeated weaknesses difficult to identify.

When Should You Adjust a TH13 Legend Layout?

Review several defenses and look for the same Battle Blimp route, Queen Charge, Smash path, Electro Dragon chain, Sweeper bypass, weak Hero placement, direct ground route or weak final section.

Begin with one focused adjustment. Change an Air Sweeper direction, revise a wall opening, move an exposed defense, separate two high-value buildings, adjust defending Hero placement or redistribute one trap group.

Review additional defenses after the change. Confirm that the adjustment reduces the original weakness without creating a simpler route for another common strategy.

Should You Rotate TH13 Legend Bases?

Rotate a layout when repeated defensive results reveal a structural weakness, when the active defensive environment changes or when the same prepared entry appears consistently.

Do not rotate automatically every week. A layout that continues to control average stars and destruction may only require a targeted wall, trap, Air Sweeper or defending Hero adjustment.

How These TH13 Legend League Layouts Are Reviewed

Layouts may be community-submitted or editorially reviewed for their Town Hall level, visible structure, Legend-category relevance, image quality and copy-link availability. Review may include Town Hall access, Eagle Artillery placement, Scattershot separation, Air Sweeper direction, Battle Blimp routes, air coverage, ground paths, defending Hero value and back-end strength.

Publication does not automatically mean that a layout has undergone controlled testing against top-ranked attackers. Any layout specifically described as tested should be supported by documented defensive results and a clear process.

Read the layout review methodology for information about submissions, editorial checks, corrections and testing labels.
