TH18 War Anti 2 Star COC Base Layout with Copy Link

Strategy Explanation
This TH18 war layout is built around denying the easy Town Hall grab while forcing attackers to spend a lot of value just to create clean pathing. The Town Hall sits away from the middle, protected by layered walls, nearby heavy defenses, and enough surrounding buildings to make a quick hero dive or Battle Blimp less comfortable. The main damage is grouped through the inner area, where heroes, traps, and high-value defenses can punish troops that drift in without support.
The base also has a strong anti 2 star feel because the attacker cannot simply pick one side, remove the Town Hall, and roll through the rest. The outside ring is busy, especially on the right and lower sides, which can pull spam troops wide. If the funnel is weak, Root Riders, Yetis, Dragons, or Electro Dragons can waste time on edge buildings while the core keeps firing. It is a good COC base layout for war, CWL, and Legend League players who want something annoying to read on the first attack.
Strengths
- Offset Town Hall protection: The Town Hall is not sitting freely on the edge, so attackers usually need a real plan to secure it.
- Strong core pressure: The middle area holds key defensive value and hero coverage, making spam attacks take heavy damage once they enter.
- Awkward funneling: The spread of outside buildings can drag troops around the base instead of letting them move straight through.
- Good anti 2 star value: Attackers who miss the Town Hall or run out of time can easily end with a low-percentage one star.
- Useful for Legend League: The layout forces fast attackers to make decisions under pressure, which is valuable in daily defense cycles.
Town Hall Access and Anti 2 Star Pressure
The Town Hall placement is the main reason this layout works as an anti 2 star base. It is reachable, but not cheaply reachable. An attacker has to commit heroes, a Siege Machine, invisibility spells, or a full army path to get it reliably. That commitment can leave the rest of the attack short on power, especially when the push has to deal with the inner defenses afterward.
This is exactly the kind of base that can punish overconfident war hits. If the attacker treats the Town Hall side like a simple entry, the surrounding buildings and walls can slow everything down long enough for the core to do real damage.
Core Damage and Hero Trap Value
The middle of the layout is packed with the kind of defenses that punish clumped troops. Heroes are positioned where they can add damage into the main path instead of being picked off for free. This makes ground spam less predictable, because troops may split toward defensive pockets while heroes and high-damage defenses keep hitting from different angles.
For air attacks, the inner coverage also matters. Dragons and Electro Dragons do not get a clean straight line through the whole base, and the heavier defenses around the middle can break the attack before it reaches the back end.
Pathing Problems for Spam Armies
The outer ring is one of the more important parts of this base. There are enough buildings on the edges to make funneling awkward, but not in a way that gives attackers simple free value everywhere. On the right side, the structure can pull troops along the outside if the attacker does not clear properly. On the lower side, the Town Hall threat forces them to decide whether to go early for safety or save power for the middle.
This is useful against Root Rider smash, Dragon spam, Electro Dragon chains, and other common Legend League attacks. The layout does not rely on one trick; it relies on making the attacker manage pathing, spells, and Town Hall timing all at once.
Best Use and Copy Layout Notes
Use this TH18 base when you want a war or Legend League defense that focuses on missed Town Hall attempts, time fails, and messy two-star attacks. It is especially suitable for CWL days where opponents may only have one fresh hit and cannot test trap placements first.
If you use the copy layout option, check that all traps, hero altars, spell towers, and key defenses are placed correctly after copying. Small trap changes can make the base perform differently, so keep the original structure intact before making personal edits.
