TH18 War Base Layout with Anti 2 Star defensive skills
Latest Reviews
Strategy Explanation
This TH18 war base is built around making the Town Hall hard to take cleanly without a serious spell and hero investment. The main value sits inside a tight inner ring, with the Town Hall protected by nearby high-damage defenses and layered walls. Around that, the base uses a wide diamond-style shape with several open-looking lanes that can pull troops sideways instead of letting them walk straight into the middle.
For anti 2 star use, the important idea is simple: attackers can get percentage from the outside, but reaching the Town Hall safely is not comfortable. A Blimp, Warden walk, Queen charge, or root-style push has to deal with awkward angles, defensive fire from multiple sides, and a lot of surrounding buildings that can ruin the funnel.
Strengths
- Protected Town Hall value: The Town Hall is not sitting on an easy edge, so attackers need a planned entry rather than a cheap snipe.
- Good anti-funnel shape: The outer ring spreads buildings around the base, making spam troops drift and split if the funnel is rushed.
- Layered wall pressure: Ground armies have to break through more than one section before reaching the highest-value area.
- Useful for war and CWL: This layout fits players who want a TH18 base that can punish safe 2-star attempts and rushed attacks.
Town Hall Access and Core Pressure
The strongest part of this layout is the way the Town Hall sits inside the main defensive mass rather than being exposed on the outside. That matters a lot at TH18, where many attackers are comfortable grabbing the Town Hall early and turning the rest into a percentage run. Here, the attacker has to commit from a chosen side and then keep the push moving through heavy fire.
The inner defenses also help punish slow entries. If the attacker uses too much just to secure the Town Hall, they may not have enough left to finish the base. That is exactly what a good anti 2 star war base should aim for.
Outer Ring Pathing
The outside buildings are placed wide enough to create pathing problems for spam armies. Electro-style attacks, root rider pushes, and hero dives can all lose time if the funnel is not built cleanly. Troops that move around the ring instead of entering the middle will collect percentage, but they may leave the Town Hall standing too long.
This is also why the base works better against impatient hits. If the attacker drops everything in one line, the layout gives troops several distractions and side targets before they reach the key defenses.
Air and Blimp Defense Notes
The air defenses and major point defenses are spread across the layout, so air attackers cannot remove all the important coverage from one angle. Still, for war use, it is worth checking trap placement after copying the base. Put seeking air mines and tornado-style disruption where you expect Battle Blimps or Warden-supported air entries to travel.
If your clan often sees Electro Dragon or Dragon Rider attacks, keep the high-value air traps away from obvious edge buildings and closer to the route toward the Town Hall.
Best Way to Use This Copy Layout
Use this TH18 layout as a war or CWL anti 2 star base when you want opponents to work hard for the Town Hall. After using the copy layout option, update your traps, Clan Castle troops, and hero positions based on the attack styles you face most. Small trap changes make this kind of base much harder to read on the first hit.
