Strategy Explanation

This BH9 war layout from kings-base runs a compact diamond core with the Builder Hall slightly offset to the left. The high-value defenses are stacked tight: Giant Cannon and Multi Mortar sit near the BH, the Roaster anchors the middle, and the Lava Launcher is tucked toward the 12 o’clock core tile. Crushers are split on the east and southwest compartments so Boxer Giants or Hog Gliders can’t disable both with one push. The outer ring is intentionally messy—collectors and decorations create stuttered pathing so the Battle Machine walks around while defenses chip away.

Air control is a clear priority. Air Bombs are central and protected, Firecrackers are spread on opposite flanks, and there are several visible air mines along the top edge and right side to punish Baby Dragons/Minions after funnel. Small wall breaks and open corners at northeast and southwest act as bait; push traps and springs then feed troops into Crushers and the Roaster’s burn. Overall, it aims to force two-stage attacks to run out of time or abilities before the core.

Strengths

  • Layered core with Giant Cannon, Roaster, and Multi Mortar overlapping the BH—great versus Cannon Cart lines and mass Barbs.
  • Anti-air bias: split Firecrackers, central Air Bombs, and visible air mines on approach paths deter Baby Dragon and Beta Minion spam.
  • Crusher separation on opposite sides makes Hog Glider and Boxer Giant pushes commit heavily to one lane.
  • Battle Machine pathing traps: scattered trash buildings drag the BM around the shell instead of straight to the BH.
  • Lava Launcher up top adds long-range chip on stalled pushes and punishes witches/minions clumping on the outer ring.

Trap and Pathing Notes

  • Air mines are visible along the top edge and right flank—great versus early Baby Dragon funnel. Keep them re-armed for war hits.
  • Use push traps pointing into the southwest Crusher and toward the Roaster from the eastern gap to punish Giant/Hog entries.
  • Mega Mines work best just inside the first wall layer on northeast and south to catch Night Witch swarms after the initial tank dies.

How to Use This Base

  • Rotate a Firecracker and one spring trap between wars to break repeat attackers’ plans without changing the whole build.
  • Don’t leave the Star Lab and clock tower clumped; keep them spread to extend BM walking time.
  • Scout for common lanes: if rivals prefer Hog Gliders, swap a Tesla spot with a spring near the eastern entry.

Attacker Scouting Tips

  • Test for springs at the southwest opening before committing Giants/Hogs; a single Sneaky Archer can pull Guard Post troops first.
  • A 1–2 o’clock breach with BM tanking and 4–6 Cannon Carts behind has the best chance to outrange the Lava Launcher and roll the core.
