Strategy Explanation

This BH7 war layout runs a compact diamond with stacked compartments and a tight core. The Builder Hall sits dead center, boxed by two inner rings of walls. Crushers are placed on the left and right lanes just off the core, while the Roaster and Air Bombs cover from behind the Builder Hall. Multi Mortar fires from the heart of the base, overlapping with Double Cannons and fast-mode Archer Tower at the top tip. Clock Tower (left) and Star Laboratory (right) sit inside the outer ring as tanky distractions so troops don’t path straight to the BH.

The design aims to bait ground pushes from the bottom or the side tips. Openings and corner angles steer Boxer Giants and the Battle Machine into spring traps and push traps that toss them across the walls toward the Crushers. For air, the Firecrackers are staggered around the core and the Air Bombs sit central, so Baby Dragons and Minions must chew through overlapping coverage the entire time. Night Witch floods get burned by the Roaster once they step inside the second layer.

In war, this layout plays for low two-stars or high one-stars. It punishes spam drops, slows funneling, and forces the attacker to clear the outer ring under constant splash and anti-air fire.

Strengths

  • Diamond pathing control: Angled walls and small gaps drag the Battle Machine toward Crushers rather than the BH.
  • Core splash stack: Multi Mortar + Roaster + Air Bombs overlap the Builder Hall for anti-archer, anti-barb, and anti-witch coverage.
  • Air denial: Staggered Firecrackers plus central Air Bombs force Baby Dragons to split and lose the enraged bonus.
  • High hitpoint fillers: Star Lab and Clock Tower inside the outer ring soak damage and stall timers.
  • Trap synergy: Push traps feed into Crushers; mines and a mega mine guard the likely entry at the lower edge.

Trap and Pathing Notes

  • Keep push traps at the left and right approaches pointing inward to the Crushers.
  • Place a mega mine just inside the lower entry to punish Raged Barb spam and to clip Night Witches after their first wave.
  • Air mines sit slightly off-center so they trigger on early Baby Dragons, not after the core is already open.

Attackers This Base Targets

  • Giants + Cannon Carts: Springs and Crushers split tanks from carts; Multi Mortar cleans the support line.
  • Night Witches: Outer ring stalls them; Roaster and Air Bombs melt bats at the second layer.
  • Baby Dragons: Staggered anti-air forces awkward pathing and denies chain enrages.

Builder Hall 7 Tweaks

  • Switch the Archer Tower to fast mode when air spam is common; swap to long range if facing Sneaky Archers.
  • Rotate Firecrackers a tile or two between wars to dodge pre-scouted snipes.
  • If opponents favor ground, shift the Roaster a tile toward the expected entry so it engages earlier.

Use this “Top BH7 CoC Layout | my elite layout” when you expect mixed armies in war. It reliably holds stars by breaking pathing and stacking splash on the core.
