How to Play
Your archer attacks enemies inside the defense circle automatically. Tap an enemy to focus fire, defeat attackers to earn gold, and spend that gold on castle health, arrow damage, attack speed, range, and Arrow Storm recovery.
Survive Each Wave
Enemies become faster and tougher as time passes. Watch castle integrity, mark dangerous attackers before they reach the center, and avoid spending all your gold on a single upgrade path.
Use Arrow Storm
Defeating enemies charges Arrow Storm. Activate it when the meter is full to damage several threats. Saving it for a crowded wave or boss can be more valuable than using it immediately.
Build a Balanced Defense
- Castle HP increases durability and repairs part of the damage.
- Arrow Power improves damage per hit.
- Fire Rate increases the number of attacks.
- Attack Range lets the archer begin firing sooner.
- Storm upgrades reduce ability recovery time.
Guests can practice freely. Sign in to place verified scores on the public leaderboard or join a live tournament.
Castle Warden Strategy
Castle Warden rewards steady decisions rather than one perfect upgrade. Early waves provide time to build an economy, but later enemies punish weak range, slow attacks, and neglected castle health. Mark high-pressure targets, keep an eye on affordable upgrades, and use Arrow Storm when it can remove several threats.
Verified Scores and Fair Play
Ranked runs begin with a server-issued game session and seed. Completed results are checked for valid timing, wave progression, combat limits, upgrade costs, and action chronology before appearing on a leaderboard. Directly editing a final score request does not bypass these checks. Suspicious or automated play may be rejected or reviewed before tournament prizes are assigned.
Public and Tournament Leaderboards
An authenticated verified run can improve the permanent Castle Warden leaderboard. When the run starts from a joined live tournament, the same verified result can also improve that tournament position. Each leaderboard displays one personal best per player. When scores are equal, the result achieved first ranks higher.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can guests play?
Yes. Guests can play without creating an account. After a verified guest run, signing in allows that score to be claimed once from the same browser session.
Can I retry?
Yes. Public play and game tournaments allow retries. Only your highest verified score represents you on each leaderboard.
Does the game work on phones?
Castle Warden supports touch input and responsive layouts. For the clearest battlefield view, landscape orientation may be more comfortable on smaller phones.
