Strategy Explanation

This BH6 base uses a tight, compartment-heavy diamond style with the Builder Hall placed close to the middle instead of on an exposed edge. The main defensive idea is clear: make attackers work through several small wall sections before they can reach the most important buildings. Rather than giving one clean route across the base, the layout breaks the interior into separated boxes around the core.

The Crusher is set inside the lower side of the base, while the larger defensive pieces are spread around the middle ring instead of being stacked into one spot. The Multi Mortar sits on the right side, the Roaster is placed lower-right, and other point defenses and support buildings cover the left and upper lanes. This spread matters because it reduces the value of a single direct push. Troops entering from one side will usually face only part of the defense first, then drift into the next compartment under continued fire.

Outer buildings are close enough to the walls that attackers can create a funnel, but the shape of the base still encourages troops to walk around corners rather than go straight to the center. That is especially useful against Boxer Giants and support troops, since they can get delayed by wall breaks and awkward target order. The Builder Hall being offset slightly within the central structure also means the second stage of a push still has to survive defensive fire before reaching it.

Strengths

This layout gets good value from compact spacing and layered access. It does not rely on one giant compartment, so attackers usually need to commit more time and more wall pressure to reach the center cleanly.

  • Central Builder Hall: The hall is not free from any direct edge, which helps against quick percentage-focused hits.
  • Split compartments: Several small boxes can interrupt straight-line movement and slow down ground troops.
  • Spread key defenses: The Multi Mortar, Roaster, Crusher, and other defenses are not all clumped together, so one successful entry does not remove all core pressure at once.
  • Awkward rotation: The diamond shape can make troops circle the outer ring before fully collapsing inward.

Ground Attack Pathing

Against ground armies, the layout is trying to force a messy route instead of a smooth dive. Boxer Giants entering from the lower side have to deal with the Crusher zone before they can comfortably support the rest of the army. Entries from the sides can be slowed by the small compartments, which often split tanks and support units at the wrong time.

That said, if attackers break one side compartment and keep their Battle Machine lined up behind the tanking troops, the central section can open quickly. This is the main trade-off of a compact BH6 design: it is good at causing inefficient movement, but it does not have a huge amount of dead space once the walls are opened.

Air Attack Considerations

The base does a decent job of avoiding a completely free air line through the middle because key defenses are placed in different lanes. The Roaster on the lower-right side helps punish air troops that drift across that half of the base, while the Multi Mortar adds splash pressure from another angle.

Still, attackers can examine the side with the easiest first defense removal and try to push air units around the edge into the center. Since the Builder Hall is central but not buried behind many outer layers, preserving troop count is important for the defense. If the first defensive ring falls too quickly, the hall can become exposed faster than the layout wants.

Compartment Value

The strongest feature here is the wall plan itself. Even before placing buildings, the structure creates a controlled set of entry points and short interior channels. That makes this design useful for BH6 players who want something balanced rather than a risky edge hall setup. It gives defenses time to work while attackers sort out pathing.

If you want a practical BH6 design with a protected Builder Hall and a clean, easy-to-copy shape, this one makes sense to test. Its value comes from forcing extra decisions, not from any gimmick, and that is often exactly what a solid Builder Base needs.
