Strategy Explanation

This BH5 war layout runs a compact diamond core with funnel gaps on all four sides to pull pathing into traps. The Builder Hall sits central, flanked by splash and key point defenses: Crushers on opposite diagonals, the Multi Mortar and Air Bombs tucked just off-center, and Archer Towers watching the long approaches. The inner diamond is wrapped by a second ring of small compartments that hold storages and utility buildings; these soak damage, stall Giants, and keep Cannon Carts firing into awkward angles while your splash works.

Open tiles at the south and east act as bait. Push Traps and Springs there send Giants across the grain toward a Crusher, while a Mega Mine and ground Mines punish Bomber follow-ups and Raged Barb floods. On the air side, Firecrackers sit in the upper corners split wide so Baby Dragon or Minion spam cannot clear one side and roll the base. Seeking Air Mines are placed on the outside lanes where most players try to start minion funnels.

Overall, the base is built to deny two-star consistency. Chip damage on outer collectors is allowed, but once troops breach, they’re forced through tight alleys where Crushers, the Guard Post, and Multi Mortar overlap.

Strengths

  • Pathing control: Intentional wall gaps and angled compartments drag Giants through Springs and into a Crusher every time.
  • Core splash stack: Multi Mortar + Crushers + Air Bombs positioned so they all cover the Builder Hall, punishing mixed ground/air pushes.
  • Anti-air spread: Split Firecrackers with central Air Bombs make Baby Dragon and Beta Minion swarms unreliable.
  • Time sink ring: Storages and camps in corner pods slow Sneaky Archer snipes and delay Bomber setups.
  • Guard Post pull: GP near core interferes with Cannon Cart kiting and stalls Giants under Crusher fire.

Trap and Pathing Notes

  • Set Push Traps on the south/east gaps to toss into Crushers, not out of the base.
  • Mega Mine just inside the southern gap punishes Barb swarms and Giant clumps after the first wall break.
  • Scatter ground Mines along the west alley to catch Cannon Carts trailing Giants.
  • Place at least one Seeking Air Mine on each long flank to break Baby Dragon chains.

Recommended Tweaks by Matchup

  • Vs Giants + Carts: Switch one Archer Tower to Long Range and slide the Double Cannon a tile inward to keep carts from sniping it clean.
  • Vs Baby Dragons: Pull a Firecracker one tile deeper and swap a Spring for a Seeking Air Mine on the entry side.
  • Vs Raged Barbs: Move the Mega Mine one tile forward and add a ground Mine behind it to punish delayed drops.

Defensive Setup Tips

  • Keep Crushers on opposite diagonals so at least one covers any Giant path to BH.
  • Do not close the bait gaps—this base relies on them to feed troops into traps.
  • Review replays: if attackers repeatedly snipe a corner Firecracker, rotate it with a storage and tuck it one tile inward.
