Strategy Explanation

This BH4 war layout is a compact, trap-heavy core built to deny 2-stars. The Builder Hall sits in the middle behind two rings of short compartments. Key damage is stacked inside: the Crusher is just south of the BH, the Double Cannon is tucked to the right, and the Guard Post is directly above to stall pushes. Air defense is centralized—an Air Bombs balloon sits inside the core on the right and a Firecrackers unit covers the opposite side—so Baby Dragon and Minion openers don’t get free percentage.

Outside buildings are used intentionally to skew pathing. On the left, the Star Laboratory and camps pull Raged Barbarians and Giants into the bottom-left corner, where an Archer Tower in its own pocket and the Crusher catch them. Small bombs are visible at the top corners of the inner ring, and there’s a push trap in the bottom lane pointing troops back toward the Crusher. Storages are parked on the edges (gold to the right, elixir up top) to waste time and soak Archer shots while the core works.

Overall, the base wants attackers to enter from the “easy” left/bottom sides, walk the ring, and never reach the BH until late—by then they’ve eaten Crusher swings and Double Cannon bursts.

Strengths

  • Centralized BH with layered walls makes direct snipes very difficult.
  • Crusher + push-trap funnel at the bottom punishes Barb rushes and Giant tanks.
  • Core Double Cannon shreds tanks that do slip past the first layer.
  • Guard Post above BH stalls Cannon Carts and forces retargets.
  • Air Bombs and Firecrackers overlap over the core, stopping Baby Dragon spam.
  • Offset storages and utility buildings buy time and shape troop pathing.

Base Breakdown

  • Core: Builder Hall centered; Double Cannon to the right; Crusher below; Guard Post above; Air Bombs inside right; Firecrackers covering the left interior.
  • Outer pockets: Archer Tower in the bottom-left pocket; Cannons on the right and upper-right pockets to crossfire the ring.
  • Utility: Star Laboratory and army camps left/bottom as pathing anchors; gold storage far right and elixir up top as tanky time sinks.

Trap Placement Notes

  • Push trap in the lower lane aims troops back into the Crusher swing zone.
  • Visible red bombs near the top corners punish Archers and Minions trying to chip the ring.
  • Place remaining mines on likely Giant steps at the left entry tiles to soften the first wave.

How to Defend Common Attacks

  • Barb rush: Start from left or bottom—perfect for the Crusher funnel. Keep Archer Tower on Fast attack to swat early Archers.
  • Giants + Carts: They’ll favor top-right. Save your guard troops to stall Carts while Double Cannon burns the tanks.
  • Baby Dragons/Minions: Central Air Bombs plus Firecrackers force ability waste; don’t leave gaps behind storages where they can park.

Upgrade Priorities

  1. Crusher and Double Cannon to max.
  2. Air Bombs, then Firecrackers.
  3. Archer Tower and regular Cannons.
  4. Finish with walls to tighten those corner pockets.
